INTERPRETING

Transumana offers interpreting services for Slovenian and English languages for conferences, seminars and all other types of events. Interpreting is demanding, requiring immediate, accurate translation of speech without help from reference materials. Transumana’s interpreters are therefore skilled professionals, fluent in Slovenian and English languages.

We offer the following interpreting services:

• Consecutive interpreting: Interpreters translate or summarize after short sections of a discussion. This sort of interpreting is appropriate for one-to-one meetings or small groups.
• Simultaneous interpreting: This is the most difficult type of interpreting. Interpreters listen and translate at the same time, enabling multi-national conference delegates, for example, to understand another delegate’s speech as it takes place. Simultaneous interpreting requires highly skilled interpreters and special equipment (booths, earphones, etc).
• Court interpreting: Court interpreters must be proficient consecutive interpreters with experience of court procedures. They must also be able to remain impartial at all times.
